Forest School session 3

Reception are so settled into Forest School now and they have so many ideas about what they would like to do! Last week I noticed that the children were highly engaged in wrapping and weaving the trees and sticks so we had some wool in autumnal colours. We had a lovely chat about Autumn on our way to Forest School and Freddie said "I love autumn because all the leaves change". We found some Autumnal objects including conkers and cones and these were used for collecting, counting and making into fishing rods!
The willow dome is looking fantastic with all the weaving and wrapping with wool and masking tape!
We also discovered a lovely looking spider which the children thought 'looked like a tarantula' and a very hairy caterpillar which we thought looked rather funky!
